: ... is there anything wrong with supporting Kevin Smith, who has made a success of his life? No.
Agreed. I never said I don't support Kevin Smith. I enjoy his films and I admire him for writing such intelligent films that appeal to people with like-minded intelligence. Most of the tv shows, movies, music, etc. these days is the complete opposite. But what I disagree with is the sycophants who come in here and act like Kevin is infallible. Nobody is. And if I see a film that Kevin does that I dislike, I'm going to say it. Because if you're passionate about something, especially the work of someone you admire, you tell the truth.
: You're correct about being a filmmaker. It is hard work, work that Kevin, Scott Mosier, Vincent Pereira, Brian Lynch and many others have struggled to accomplish - and succeeded. Yes, they are ordinary people, like you and me (I mean, look at yourself in the picture, you're no more extraordinary than I am), but they respect those that made their films successes - people like us, the fans.
Agreed.
: Vincent, Kevin, Brian and others come on here daily to talk with us, to connect with their fans, answering questions when asked politely. It's one of many reasons why I respect them so much. I don't ask for approval, nor do I always agree with what they have to say.
You're in the minority, pal.
: What I ask is that you respect them, and us. To come on here, just to cause trouble, is foolish. You're thirty years old, doing what eleven-year-olds do on Eminem message boards. Stop trying to start fights, and post with validity. Thank you for reading.
Wrong. I'm simply voicing my opinion as everyone else does on here. I frankly don't go to the Eminem message boards nor would I want to.
: Welcome to the board.
