Alright so I am looking at a sales ad that we were about to ship out to over 6000 store locations nationwide. I happen to look at the contents listing on the page and I see the following description on an assortment:

Item 1. Jap "R" Seatbelt Shoulder Pad

Now what this product happens to be is a seatbelt shoulder pad that has a printed "R" on it that is a rip off of the Honda Type R styling.

Clearly the description should have been "Type R" styled Shoulder Pad.

I went to our V.P. and dropped a hint that this might upset people as this a bit of a racial term used to describe Japanese Americans.

So now they are on the horn with the big wigs reviewing if they feel this is offensive to anyone.

Everyones thoughts?
