everyone thinks he does. he does not. what changes is the movie, the script and his character. instead of him playing a moron in happy gilmore, he plays a depressed loser in punch drunk love. he plays both roles the same. you know how he always looks stoned, bored and monotone? he does that thoughout punch drunk love. thus, bringing me to the conclusion that adam sandlers best performace was in little nicky, where he actually changed his voice and hair style. or something like that
