: A while back, someone here said that Hollywood misuses Jason Lee's talent. After watching his work with Kevin as well as in Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky (even though I didn't particularly care for this. I usually like flicks like VS, but that was too confusing, but I'll give it a try again to see if I like it more), I have to agree with whomever that was. I fully acknowledge that Mallrats was not the best View Askew picture although I liked it a lot considering I was expecting it to be the eqiuvalent of a Pauly Shore movie marathon (based on what I heard) and I ended up laughing my ass off, but Brodie Bruce is the best character in those films, IMHO. Jason did pretty good for a guy that had never acted before at all, and he impresses me in just about everything I see him in, but I refuse to see that Stealing Harvard, as I can't stand Tom Green. If it had been *Seth* Green on the other hand...
: Jason Lee is the man, and I'm going to write screenplays in the future, and I hope to write a part that he plays.
: However, someone here also said that Jason Lee should have played the Tom Cruise role in Vanilla Sky. This isn't right for him. He's not a lead type (at least not for movies like that), he's the best friend.
