I mean you just can't make a new final fantasy that has anything to do with the last except for characters named Cid, Biggs and Wedge.
I did however hear they were going to do FF 7 8 and 9 in PS2 format in the next couple of years... seeing those games in new graphics would be a soggy dream come true.
