hi, i'm asking a favour here. i've got my final high school exam for media studies in about a weeks time, and one of the sections covered is called social values. i chose to study chasing amy this year and did pretty good in the test, but at the moment i'm drawing blanks (maybe i've over-analysed it).
heres what i'm looking for
social values in the text which REFLECT the production period
and
social values in the text which CHALLENGE the production period
any help would be much appreciated -- i'm not looking for anyone to do the hard work for me, just a few pointers to get me back in the right direction. so far i've got attitudes towards casual sex as reflecting, and the whole male-as-dominant-partner attitude being challenged.
cheers,
-jonty
