since I am a mere mortal. I mean, I must be a fan since I'm familiar with his website. But seriously, in 10 years his films will be up there with Caddyshack, on Comedy Central once a month, vs PTA's, who will never find their way on network TV and be relegated to film classes and late night AMC viewings.
To summarize: Smith's movies are more accessible, less artistic ; PTA's less accessible, more artistic
