Churlish is clearly someone doing their impression of an idiot... and it's actually a pretty funny one, a lot better than most people's "fake idiot newbie" characters, for a good number of reasons:
First and foremost, most people spin their fake-idiot character into a spurned angry screaming idiot character far far too soon, to use the wrestling term "turn heel" way too soon. The thinker behind Churlish's... uhm... what can only be called "pretardation"... however has not fallen into that hole, rather has kept the character childishly accepting of the abuse, tossing out poorly worded variations of "please don't pick on me" and "i don't understand what you're saying".
Secondly, the good mark of a fake-idiot on the internet is... just like in a sitcom... the catchphrase. Bart had "aye carumba", Tim Taylor had that cocaine-snorting barking-sound... Churlish has one upped it with the "meta-catchphrase" of ripping off Jim-Rome's-slavish-followers with the catchphrase "out!".
Thirdly, no inconsistencies... a lot of internet pranksters have the tendency when creating a fake-idiot of "dropping hints" of their identity as an in-joke... y'know, little hints that there's intelligence there. None with Churlish! Straight-up infantile mush, no wacky hint dropping.
I guess my point is... though there's far too MUCH of the prank clogging up the board certainly and the writer-behind-Churlish should certainly CUT BACK... man, reading Churlish as the joke he-she is, I regularly guffaw while "shooting the Churl" as the hip kids say as slang for reading a Churlish post.
There's a few interesting segments to the Crapper but honestly, it's all really fucking soured by all the backbiting and infighting and plagurising over all.
I guess all I'm trying to say is this:
The-artist-posing-as-Churlish is a lot more interesting than 80-90% of the Crapper.
