Wooden acting.
Atrociously written dialogue.
No sense of pacing.
Reams of pointless exposition.
Two-dimensional character motivation.
Digital characters that still look like something that was animated into the frame... it's not like George doesn't have the MONEY to pay for really good costumes and puppets, he's just being an asshole who just wants to prove something about technology.
A romance with no charisma that had no internal development, they just kinda fell in love.
Needless retrofitting of characters that used to be interesting and useful and now come off lame.
The "Yo Da Man" ads.
The fact that the only decent scene, between fake-digital Yoda and Dracula, was so hyped and was only like three seconds long.
Did I mentioned romance that has no internal logic, that just kinda happens, my number one pet peeve in just about all bad movies?
A tobacco-is-wacko-if-you're-a-teen ad in there for no reason.
Actors constantly looking like they're looking at dots off in the distance and concentrating on hitting marks for where the cartoons are going to be instead of... y'know... acting.
That fast bright flicker of overlit digital film that makes my eyes hurt.
The FUCKING FIFTIES DINER OUT OF NOWHERE IN FUCKING PARTICULAR.
The whole thing being dumbed down for three-year-olds with ADD.
These are only a beginning.
