I was watching the "Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones" DVD on Tuesday. In the commentary for the movie, at the part where they show the Death Star plans, George Lucas mentions that the Geonosisians are the ones contracted to build the death star by the Empire. Than he says that "this answers Jay and Silent Bob's question; who cares if they are killed, they are just stupid termites". George made a direct referance to Jay and Silent Bob! All though it was was Dante Hicks and Randell Graves who were talking about who was contracted and killed building the 2nd death star. but hey, at least this proves he actually watched clerks. The DVD is great and that little comment made me smile, even though a lot of people watching the DVD probally had no clue what he was talking about.
Check it out...George Lucas maked a better referance and quote than I listed above...Just see (or listen) for you self.
