Shane Black Rocks!!! Great action Writer and I am sad to say I knew most of the trivia you wowed us with...though not all the details of the original script...I guess it was going to be much darker a la Lethal Weapon 1. I heard something a few years back that Shane Black couldn't get into the Screen Writers Guild or some similar organisation as they said he hadn't writen enough or something...regardless that he wrote 3 of the best action films around...Well co wrote lethal 2 and I will be honest I like The Long Kiss Good Night!!! Anyone know what he is up to now?
I don't know if you have seen Predator SE DVD yet but it seems that Shane Black was there because they thought that there were problems with the script so they wanted him on site to make the changes if necessary!!!
