I was doing a search for “the opinions of Kevin Smith” attempting to determine some of his more recent thoughts on certain matters. I came across this and thought it might be …amusing.
Even though the question is “What would you ask if you met Kevin Smith?” I have written my response under the possibility that Kevin could read this, therefore transforming the application of this question (for me) to: “What would you like to say to Kevin Smith?” Proposing that meeting him is unnecessary. It would be a bonus but not a demand. His own judgment is the deciding factor in he would like to meet.

Because I know this great place that serves penne in a tomato basil sauce that may have a touch of parsley and cilantro, with spicy Italian sausage and black olives. Interested? As much fun as it would be to impress you with my eating skills, you’re going to have to settle for a night of wit and humour, optimistically not only provided by myself.
I’m not sure if I’m a fan. But I’m definitely intrigued, to know if you are the person you’ve expressed on screen. To know what decisions you’ve encountered to provoke questions (hopefully) we all ask ourselves. And how, through the mist of reality, faith, the english language, myth and conviction you have been able to eloquently provide answers that not only reflect all of those things but also your own humble introspection. Meanwhile conveying and maintaining a contemporary retrospective outlook on the history of man and his [con]quest for truth and power. Conclusively, in a succinct response to the question “What would you like to say to Kevin Smith?” my answer is:
So much more.
