If you find rape uncomfortable to watch, from your writing, pretty uncomfortable, Do not see "Boy's Don't Cry". To describe the movie in one word: Intense. It summonned enough feelinn to place me at the forefront of tears and anger. The main reason it made me so distressed, I will not disclose. But part of my anger was not that this happened in the movie but that it happens to this day.
But if you do want to watch Vulgar my advice is this:
Rape, or a rape scene is nothing you can't live through.
