We live in a world we define ourselves with the tools we allow ourselves to create and use. If the tool is inspiration of a muse/stripper or a skill saw, that is the tool we choose.
Let it also be said that as people in a world full of proof and tangible dreams, we have no one to blame but ourselves if things don't go as we'd hope. I believe in a higher power, but not in some supreme being calling all the shots. A God? no. You control your destiny regardless of tools, beliefs or faith. higher meaning? yes. Find it, here in lies the story of life, the journey, not the destination. Throwing all faith into a thought dating back centuries based on a book of cute stories of mythology (accurate as some may be) is just foolish and nieve. It may be the best selling book of all time, but it is just a book. Clerks was one hell of a movie, but just a movie. Read the bible, enjoy it, learn from it, but it's a work of fiction. Aesop wrote great morals and stories too, read his too! Don't fool yourself into thinking this is the work of some supreme creature or being. You're on your own, make your life as full and happy as you can. You only guaranteed one shot, why not make the most of it.
Damn, that was deep, someone throw me a line!!!!
Happy belated Thanksgiving. Do something nice for someone, not to get into heaven, or for the kharma, but because it feels good and it's an amazing feeling in helping your fellow man ... or stripper.
