Chevy musta be a real prick for not even Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Martin Short or Randy Quaid. Jane Curtain wouldnt even make the trip from Broadway. (lol)
Where was Jeffrey Ross? Where was Alan King? Where was Dr. Ruth? Where was Abe Vigoda?????
The rookie comics just werent funny. The first chick was ok. I think Paul Schaffer was the fnniest. His constant laughing and opening song was great.
(I know what your thinking, who is Schaffer to talk. This guy made his career sucking Letterman's cock.)
I remember this guy saying roasting Chevy Chase was as easy as looking at fish in a barell. And what did he do, he said nothing about him. 25 percent of the jokes were at Chevy, the rest were to the people on stage.
Franken, usually funny, failed to impress. ( Ronnie Sunshine.) Belzer, awesome talent, was pretty decent.
worst roast outtha the 5 televised, they were always an hour by the way.
Carey's was the best though.
