and I think I liked it even better; probably just because I had fewer distractions though. I guess another reason I liked it so much is because I expected so little of it before I saw it. I had read some bad reviews, and I'm not crazy about Tobey Maguire or Kirsten Dunst, so I really expected to hate it. Knowing in advance about some of the corny lines and such served to take the edge off of them for me. I disagree about the characters. I thought there was some interesting and unexpected character development.
I still haven't seen Kevin Smith yet. What part of the special features is he in again?
: the second time? it seemed to be very corny dialogue all the way through, and the characters were extreme either one way or another....there were really no CHARACTERS in the movie as much as stereotypes.
: that being said, i still think raimi did a nice job of direction, even if the effects were a little shitty, but the scriptwriter seemed to be sleepwalking through the motions of this one.
: also, dont use the excuse that it is a comic book, because batman, xmen, and superman at least an attempt at human characters instead of mindless stereotypes.
