I'm sure there's some talented people on the project... and I'm sure you'll acquit yourself well as a writer because you ARE a good comedy writer...
But if the self-styled Captain of the Irony Police can't see the comic potential of working on a sequel to the worst comedy to make money ever, despite a near-total change in talent involved, you're getting a little sensitive.
Be proud of who you're working with and your writing... you've got a right to... but, man, the title your project carries, you're gonna have to get a sense of humour about.
