never liked it. i guess cause i dont like turkey and my 'extended' family are assholes.
so all in all i dont really do anything for thanksgiving. but this yr ill be at my mans house. as long as my mom has somewhere to go (shes going with my sister to her in laws) we are all fine and can go our seperate ways.
now christmas is a different story!!!
we go to my sisters house on christmas eve (its only my 2 sisters, the hubbys and kids and my mom--sometimes my sis's inlaws come too). she has a fireplace that she gets going, the kids are all in there xmas dresses and suits and they go crazy opening the presents. its so cute!!! i love it!! then we go to the midnight service at the church (the candle light service). christmas day we just kinda hang around and do nothing.
too me....thats the holiday that i cant miss being with my family.
: Can't wait till turkey day! and a nice long weekend to relax. Going to a friends house for Turkey day to eat and hang out (maybe have a few beers) hehe
