I borrowed the 'how-to' book at the library that tells you how to solve it and I *still* couldn't do it.

Granted, the steps are vague. If I remember correctly, it's like:
Step 1: Do all the diagonals so they match
Step 2: Do squares 2 & 8 on all faces
Step 3: Do the rest of it

Only there are five steps, so I guess I slightly over-generalized somewhere in there. I did find a fool-proof method, which involves popping the squares out and re-arranging them manually, but I felt like that was kinda not the spirit of the game.

The point is, I still can't do it, but I also think my cube is broken and probably had ten yellows or something.
