Everyone says "huh?" when i mention this movie because Miramax decided not to promote it at all. It's a shame because they could make some $$ off of this thing. I thought the story was pretty good (a mix of Fahrenheit 451, Gattaca, 1984....). I also thought there were good performances by Christian Bale, Taye Diggs and Angus MacFadyen.
.......But what really makes this movie stand out is the ACTION SCENES. This is some of the most original action i've seen in a while. Bale uses GUN-KATA, a martial art based solely around guns.
Great stuff IMO.
It's getting killed by the critics but screw 'em. They matter even less these days now that they're a dime a dozen (....but hey, ebert and roeper liked it)
