Yeah, hello. I'm new to this board. Thought I'd say hello and see what's up. I was kind of not going to join it at all. Some of the entries are silly. Whoever Churlish is sounds annoying....:) And the fact that it's one of the main topics....conufuses me as to why? But anyhow, it is a really great board as it is View Askew and because sometimes Kevin posts. But it's funny to think that some people actually think that Kevin has all this time to post under different names.... Why? Yeah... I'm confused. And that one entry from the girl that thought she saw him and thinks it's so important that he contact her back to let her know if it was or wasn't him......... Why, as well? I mean I only met him briefly at the megacon in Orlando and I know that it's not like he's going to remember me from all of his adoring fans that attended and have attended all his previous appearences. Not that he's not cool. He's one of the fucking most down to earth, funniest, nicest guys ever. Not that I spent the span of even 5 actual minutes with him. But that's something everyone knows. The I think coolest thing was when me and my friends were leaving the megacon. We walked out and there was this Pokemon VW Beetle all done up like Pikachu and me and my friends were all like wow that's so cool and we were walking up to it, like wow it's so cool.... (not that we're pokemon fans cuz i hate that fucking show...But it was really kick ass) And this woman, i dunno if she was a gaurd was all.

And we were all.... "what?" Thinking it was about the pikachu car but it wasn't it was cuz Kevin was getting in his car or suv or whatever those things were called. I noticed and was like "oh...." So we went around but my Kevy, my hubby decided to talk to him. so he did and even though kevin smith could've just said "hey, fuck off man...." He didn't. He actually shook his hand and shit.
I mean this might seem totally ordinary and boring to people that know him but it's really cool. Especially to his fans. I'm 20 years old. I saw Clerks, when I was like 12 or 13 or something and even though i was so young... and probably didn't get it at all, I loved it and became a huge fan since then. it's funny every time i meet a new person, they have no idea who Kevin Smith is. So, I usually introduce them to the whole View Askew Universe. It's like such a big part of my life that it's hard to fathom people not knowing who Smith is or what Mallrat's is or Chasing Amy, etc. etc. But so many don't. At that megacon i was actually lucky enough to get a pic with Smith and I showed it to like 10 different people and they're like "who?" And my response is only the greatest writer/director ever.... Ahhh....whatever i guess. Just thought i'd share some stuff so you'd guys would get to know me or whatever. Even though i'll probably get a whole mess of nasty judgemnental responses from you mean mean people. But it's all cool. :) Love, Michelle
