A guy with houses in Cali and Jersey, catering to a fanbase largely of teen-and-twenties-aged males in the Northeast and the Pacific West without the disposable income to travel by anything other than car, going to a festival in Hawaii... a place that middle-aged adults with steady incomes have to save up long-and-hard to go to?

There wasn't an iota of possibility in that. That was the gag.
