: How could something be "far-fetched" in a world where the dead return to life and eat the living and can only be stopped by being shot in the head?
What I meant is that in the script, it seemed like it was going off in some wild direction. In Night & Dawn, we had ordinary people trying to cope with the crisis in a realistic manner. Romero's Dead films always gave that claustrophobic(sp?), end-of-the-world kind of feel. But in the original script for Day, we have this mad scientist island with a zombie army. It was just too much from what I saw in his other Dead films. It seemed more of a "fantasy" world than the others. I know the movie version touched upon the controlling of the undead, but the script took it to a whole different level.
I'm not saying it should never be made. It's just that after seeing the movie & reading the original script, I think the best decision was made. I would like to see that film made by him one day.
I hope (sort of) that they make that Living Dead TV series that's been talked about for years.
