my neighbor used to work for the academy, so he used to give me all the screening tapes. i loved being able to watch movies that werent even out in theaters yet. he moved on, but now i got this connection with this guy at the DGA. hopefully ill be able to make a lot of movies there. the world permere of GAngs of Ny was held there. kevin and vincent went along with a shit load of other stars.
the guy told me that a lot of celebrities stay and have a Q and A session after the film. he said robin williams did that with one hour photo and people were dying of laughter. im dying to go to one of these
