its a nice idea to think that there is someone out there for everyone. but with some people that i know who dont want to be alone, but are, its hard to believe that its true. i am a hopeless romantic, i try not to watch movies like sleepless in seatle but one of my favorite movies is the wedding singer. (wheres MY robbie hart dammit?).
i do believe in love but sometimes love has an evil side. (love gives you a broken heart right from the start). love blinds you and im living proof of that. i am with someone right now that i love very much (MY robbie hart per say?) but i always have to be causious even if i dont want to be.
i do believe in love, id like to believe in love at first sight or soul mates but its a little hard sometimes considering.
: Hello all. I would like to know your thoughts/feelings/opinions on the subject of love. I don't know why, but for some reason I find the subject fascinating. Are you one of those people who believe in one true love and there being someone special out there for us all? Or are you just out for frequent, casual sex and a partner who doesnt take much "maintaining". If you're a romantic, have you always been that way, and if you're a player, are you planning to be that way forever or just while you're young (or old as the case may be?)
: For what it's worth, I am one of those hopepless romantics who goes to the movies and thinks it's nice when Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan get together....again. Yes, I will inevitably get flamed like never before for that, but to be honest I don't care. We all believe in something - or have something that gets us through the day - love is mine. Love's my weak spot, and I don't mind being ridiculed about it. But what's your take? Is the soul mate a real concept, or is it all accidental and messed up?
