Maybe I'm backtracking here, and if I am I'm sorry. Yes, I saw both those movies, and would have to say that the latter is better than the former, and I like George Clooney, but Lopez just never did it for me. I'm not a racist, my GF is Puerto Rican, hence her love for the actress/songstress, so I have nothing against her ethnicity, it's just my personal opinion. I don't necessarily wish her "BAD" luck, I just don't want to be dragged to another, poor-girl-meets-better-off-boy-who-falls-in-love-with-girl-but-girl-realizes-it-couldn't-work-so-boy-has-to-drop-his-station-in-life piece of drivel. I know it sounds harsh, but it's the way I feel. In truth, it's the movies themselves, not the actress per se that bothers me. Like I said, I loved The Cell, because it was a good movie. If Lopez can handle Smith's script then more power to her.
