Kevin Smith fanbase question

Is there a geographic difference in Kevin's fan base? Does anyone know? What prompts this is Kevin's statement that he was considering holding the next Vulgarthon in L.A. I would tend to think he's got as many fans out that way. Seems only fair to give the fans out there a break. Not to mention that it would be easier for him.
