I'm from South Carolina and I've heard/seen many shots at people that live in the south and they're never funny. They're always too stereotypical for it to be funny. If anyone put out a movie that talked badly about any other group of people, the way some movies talk about the south, could you imagine how much shit would get started. Imagine if someone put out a movie that made out like all the stereotypes about blacks or Jews were true - how long do you think anyone would stand for that?
