The guy who wrote Attention Shoppers, Nestor Carbonell, is also the star of the movie, and the guy who it's supposedly based on. The director was Philip Charles MacKenzie. Apparently it was a straight-to-video release. Came out in 2000 and is in color. I just saw it today, read the case and thought it looked good.
