Odds are the flood of newbies comes from the "Evening with Kevin Smith" DVD. Give it a month or two and it will die out. There's always a huge influx of people whenever Kevin has a big release.
I'll be curious to see what happens with Jersey Girl though. I have a feeling that this place will be bombarded with "WHERE THE HELL ARE JAY AND SILNT BOB?!?" type posts at the beginning.
