Monty strikes me as a guy who grew up in a staunch Irish Catholic family. I doubt he sees himself as much of a catholic though, which accounts for how easily he feels animosity toward the church (and Jesus himself, if you remember). I mean, I'm Catholic, and I love my church. But paedophile priests? I hope they have hot pokers shoved down their pissholes for eternity.
