Evil Dead is a movie made by a group of friends, with alot of drive and determination. They should be an inspiration for all of us trying to make a film. Raimi's techniques are so inventive, making the best with what is available, and having Bruce Campbell willing to basically be a human punching bag. The first one is great, staight up gross horror. The second and third are more humorous, with alot of Three Stooge's parodies.
I'm sure you'll enjoy them all, Stay Groovy...
