To give you a little background, my best friend and I who met in 6th (she) and 7th (me) grade in church choir. (Ironically, all of my wildest friends were from church, especially the choir.) Anyway, we were both born and raised Catholics, but she has not gone in some time. However, that does not mean that she has stopped her search for her spirituality. She is now living in Washington with her son and husband waiting to open a yoga studio. Well, right before she moved, I went to visit her and we had a very interesting conversation in regard to our paths. I realized that though we seemed to have been on parallel journeys that our views are not so far apart. Well, a girl at work was reading CELESTINE PROPHECY to better understand her boyfriend's opposing beliefs. She is Christian. Again, this book was not so opposing after all. It is not pro any type of religion as much as it explains the path once we begin to search for it consciously. The premise is that our world that was of a spiritual nature only until our purposes began to be questioned and changed. Our world again is finding its spiritual nature. I recommended it to my best friend and actually found out that she had read it twice already. I have to admit it. My younger friend is much more evolved than me. Hope this was helpful.
