I've never found any problems with the plots in the games.
I have more of a problem when games are translated into american rather than english (i don't mean this to sound like i'm having a go at americans, i'm just talking about use of different words i.e pavement=side walk). For example in the game Grandia, a female character says "i hurt my fanny" which means something quite different in the uk!
