You should pick up the graphic novels (really just collections of
comics) entitled: "The death or superman", "a world without
superman" and "The Return Of Superman". They will pretty much give
you all the info needed. Or if you can find early supermancomics
from '93, they pretty much all tie into the doomsday wars (first wars,
not second)/ death of superman story lines.
