: : : : It's got Sean Penn and Robert Duvall. If I'm not mistaken it's Dennis Hopper's directorial debut. I watched it for the first time last night, it was a pretty good flick. It's about the gang wars in LA, between not only rival gangs, but all the gangs and the police. I'd give it a 7 out of 10, not the best but definatly not the worst.
: : : lol i lived in L A when that was made, and i can tell ya the gang wars are still goin on to this day. I have seen some pretty sad stuff out there. It was a good movie i loved it. And sean penn hottie! STILL!
: : ever. I mean, honestly, what the fuck is the point? Hey.. I'm wearing blue.. Lets shoot this kid 'cause he's wearing red! It just seems so pointless. Awwww.. You grew up below the poverty level.. OOH.. I've got an idea.. Pick up a gun and join a gang.. That'll make your life better! Yeah!
: : Sorry, I'm not trying to be an ass.. It's just that all the research I've done really gets to me, that and my 13 year old cousin used to live in LA. He was shot in a driveby shooting in 2000, him and his dad were coming out of a store and he got hit by a stray bullet. I guess that's why I take it so personaly.
: No hun. Went to western high highschool in anaheim. I grew up with the stanton gang members and they were all nice to me! lol What they did on their time off was of no concern to me. People get shot everyday so i stayed out of their way.
Just an open statement.. I'm sorry if you took it that way..
