John hughe's-loved his early stuff sixteen candles etc.Most of his stuff now is more family orientated.
richard linklater-slacker was great but dazed and confused didnt really grab me,even though it had all the right ingredients,great cast etc.(except for that kid from empire records,he get's on my diddies.)
