When I was younger, I worked at a convenience store too. I was never held up, but a friend of mine who worked at the store was. Two kids, about 13 or so, were taking a couple of 40's out of the cooler and he leapt over the counter and locked the door, trapping them inside. So they pulled out a handgun. At that point, I guess he decided he liked living, because he promptly unlocked the door and let them out. I got to see the security video. The sight of two barely-teens using a gun to steal beer is very creepy.
