: If it doesn't offend you, or if you wouldn't mind sharing..

: Are you a religious person? - I'm a spiritual person, if that's what you mean. That's a very broad question. I have faith, and I believe in God.

: If so what religion do you practice? - I don't PRACTICE a religion, and I belong to no particular faith and was never babtised. I just believe in God, and I feel like I show that in my everyday actions towards life and towards others, which is all that really matters anyway.

: If not, why? - Because organised religion is a big scam, and it's anything but spiritual. It's about economics and it's also social in that it's about others trying to create a fascist order to things by keeping people in line. Religion, especially in the Western world, creates far too many sheep and not enough shepards.

: Have you ever questioned your faith? - Sure. When horrible things happen in this world, it's easy to entertain those thoughts. But, I suppose that's exactly why I must have faith.

: Was there a particular moment or event that sparked your questioning? - No, not really. Again, most people question their faith in times when they're feeling down, but human existence is a beautiful experience for the very reason that it is both up and down. It's wonderfully chaotic. We hate the bad things because the good things feel so good, and the good things can't feel nearly as good without the bad things around.

I just realized that I sound a little like I'm elaborating on the philosophy Jason Lee expounds in Vanilla Sky! "'Cause baby, without the sour, the sweet just isn't as sweet!"
