we get a lot of Yoda (when he was funny, unlike now), we get the burgeoning romance between Han and Leia, we get Lando backstabbing them, we get the shocking revelation of Vader telling Luke that he's his dad, during the best light saber fight in the whole trilogy, and the cutting off of Luke's hand, and leaving everything in a cliff hanger thirsty for more.
Yeah, Empire is the best of the three.
