That was a beautiful movie. I enjoyed the story, the performance but most of all, the look. Very style-heavy. I nearly wept at the way the scene after he talked to Clooney by his pool was shot.
As we were leaving the theatre, the wife asks "Do you think he really was a killer for the CIA?" I looked deeply into her eyes and said that doesn't matter for fuck-all. Does it matter if you actually belive the the real life Chuck Barris killed 33 people? I didn't care if I bought the conspiracy theories in real life when I watched JFK. I guess it's a matter of perspective.
