Kevin is trying to make a film that is trying to strike a chord in us all. I think one of the most difficult things to do is to make a film that is supposed to have an emotional impact but not make it cheesy (something Chasing Amy was able to pull off and The Majestic wasn't able too).
I trust that this film will be good, I just hope he doesn't fall into the same trap Majestic fell into.
Lets also not forget that the people behind Majestic were the same behind Shawshank.
