a bit of advice, take it or leave it

Kevin:

Loved your appearance on Leno last night. You're funny, you make great movies, and these two stocky gay men think you're awfully attractive.

So we'd like to pass along this bit of advice, which you can consider or ignore as you will: Stop with the baggy clothes already. When you layer yourself in all those loose shorts and sweatshirts and baseball shirts, the message you are conveying is, "I hate my body." Those outfits don't fool anyone into thinking you're svelte, they make people think that you want to hide your big self because you are ashamed of it and don't want to show it to anyone else. If you've ever caught that "What Not to Wear" show on BBC America, you may have noticed that even zaftig chicks look slimmer when they start wearing tighter (but not too tight) clothes instead of big, billowing caftans. I know you want to project a certain image of slacker chic, but could you maybe just go down a size or two on your casual ensembles? As your wife no doubt tells you all the time, you're a sexy motherfucker, and it would be great if you started dressing that way.

All the best,
A. & D.
