Finally just watched "An Evening With Kevin Smith" and I must say that I was blown away by your openness about everything you talked about. Perhaps I shouldn't have been because I've listened to (and enjoyed) all of the commentaries on your films. But after hearing you talk about Prince, I must say it was probably the only part of the DVD that I didn't laugh. Not because it wasn't funny or true (because everything you said was both), but because I was just shocked you were actually saying what you were saying about him.
There was a great article in the St. Paul Pioneer Press in 1995 (http://princetext.tripod.com/n_1995.html) that was nearly as eye-opening as your commentary about what happened during your visit to Paisley.
Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for being so honest about what happened. I think his admirers/fanatics deserve a more honest take on their favorite musician. You've clearly provided that for them :)
