There was just one thing i did not understand.....why after he said something that had meaning (or not--depends on how you see it)....
almost everyone would stand up and clap (sometimes cheer, and i could have sworn i heard an Arsenio Hall like 'whoop' at one point)....
granted, the man said some pretty words, but couldn't we have waited till the very end to do all that bullshit clapping/cheering/whooping/(puking)??
it was just weird. and then when they panned the audience while they were clapping, i noticed some of them stayed seated. why? did they not like something in particular the pres said, or just didn't feel like hopping up and down like a grown-up game of twillight zone inspired simon says???
ugh. and people wonder why i don't like to discuss politics.....
i need to go lay in the fetal position in the shower and cry.....
or just take another hit.
