: Life's lessons learned. Sold entire collection of comic books to insure a xmas for the kids. No shit. Marriage bent but didn't break. On January 18, 2001 had the so called moment of clarity. Quit everything cold turkey. No shit. Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and even caffiene for awhile(cigarettes and caffiene just go to good together). Worst 2 months of my life. Both physically and mentally. No AA or NA (which in reflection definitly was not a smart thing).
: This is where you and your abilities at whatever craft you were and are dabbling in became my sponser. I have a love and appreciation for movies and the written word. They are the void to which I now choose to escape to.
: You sir, and the worlds you have created in both your films and writing, have made my daily grind more bearable. Chasing Amy is in my top three fav movies of all time. (only surpassed by The Godfathers I&II) No shit. I could rave on about all your films. Even Mallrats... You touch on the humanity of any situation. Be it humor, drama, etc... You have a wonderful gift.
: I still, at present, can't afford to restart my collection of comics. I have however, read everything you've done bv camping out at my local bookstore. We don' have a comic book store in town anymore. So sometimes the pickings are slim. I have just acquired my first computer. It's pretty old (I only got windows 98,can't go any higher), but it does O.K.
