More importantly, they were essentially sketch.

Mr. Show was sketch. Kids in the Hall were sketch. The Young Ones were sketch put together into loose plots.

Sketch works on tour... "movies" generally don't.

There's only one way I could see a Viewaskew sketch tour work.

If everyone involved had the time off, a Big Helium Dog stage adaptation could work... turn it into a parody of touring-theatre productions, take out some of the bits that were specific to when BHD was made, change some others from film gags to stage gags... and then write some new stuff including at least one musical number.

That could be amazingly funny.

But then, as funny as it could be... I'd rather see Kevin make more movies, Lynch make more comics, Vin make another movie and Michael Ian Black do more TV and film acting... than to see all of them just pour their time into a stage show.

Anyway.

Mike
