I think people still respect "saving yourself for the right person" ... but if you say "Oh, I just haven't gotten laid yet", people think it's weird, or at least feel bad for you. People still respect the choice, if they believe it was a choice. The other thing is, sex is a lot easier to get now, I think ... I mean, if all you're looking for is meaningless sex to get rid of your virginity, it can be fairly easily done.
