I went into gamestop the other day looking for some nintendo games and I asked the spiky haired 17 year old prick behind the counter about a certain game. While he's checking the computer or whatever it is they do there, I look into the glass case only to see a copy of the original contra game for $40.00. I keep looking through the nintendo section and I see all these games, some of which now cost more than what I paid for them as a kid. I ask the guy why such high prices on old games and this is what he tells me...keep in mind he's like 4 years younger than me too. he says they are "nostalgic" Instead of busting his kneecaps for making me feel old, I silently left and went to the local thrift store, where I picked up some games for about $4 a piece.
