I mean... wouldn't that mean we have to control everything to be sure no one can go against us? Then what happens if someone rebels (like we did, remember that?)? The only way to prevent people from disliking us is to control everyone's thoughts and desires, or, barring that, make them fear speaking their thoughts against us. Sounds slightly evil to me.

I'm not saying that Hussein is a good guy, or that we should allow Kim Jong Il to build whatever weapons he wants, but what says it's ok for us to do just the same thing? Maybe being a little introspective and seeing why people hate us is a good idea. Then we kick the hell out of people who still want the new, better us dead.

Or maybe I'm an ass. That's probably it, as I'm sure most of you will tell me.
